This Privacy Policy explains how KpopDNA collects, uses, and protects your personal information when you use our AI-powered face analysis and K-pop style image generation service. We aim to comply with GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, and Korea's Personal Information Protection Act (PIPA).
KpopDNA operates as the data controller for personal information processed through this service. For privacy inquiries, contact support@kpopdna.com.
We process only the data needed to provide our service, maintain security, and comply with legal obligations. No account registration is required.
Uploaded photos are used for AI-powered face analysis and K-pop idol-style portrait image generation.
Payment processing is handled by Polar.sh. We receive limited transaction metadata for support, fraud prevention, and compliance.
We may store limited locale and cookie preference data in your browser local storage for essential service operation.
If provided during checkout, your email may be used to send a one-time completion notification via Resend. Legal Basis: Consent (GDPR Art. 6(1)(a)).
Uploaded photos are processed transiently and are not permanently stored by KpopDNA after processing completes.
Generated images are delivered directly to your browser session. Availability may be temporary depending on system operations.
Payment and compliance records are retained by Polar.sh according to legal obligations.
Safeguards: TLS encryption, no permanent data storage.
While we apply reasonable safeguards, no internet-based service is completely secure.
Depending on your jurisdiction, you may have the following rights:
GDPR (EU/EEA/UK): Right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, portability, objection, and withdrawal of consent.
CCPA/CPRA (California): Right to know, delete, correct, and non-discrimination rights. We do not sell personal information.
PIPA (Korea): Right to access, correct, delete, and suspend processing (열람, 정정, 삭제, 처리정지).
To exercise your rights, contact support@kpopdna.com. We may request verification before processing requests.
Note: Since photos are not stored after processing, most data access requests will result in "no data found".
KpopDNA is not directed to children under 18. If you believe a minor has provided personal data without appropriate consent, contact support@kpopdna.com.
Data may be processed in countries where our infrastructure or service providers operate. We apply lawful transfer mechanisms where required.
We may update this policy to reflect legal or operational changes. Material updates will be posted on this page with a revised date.
