Terms of Service

These Terms of Service govern your use of KpopDNA, an AI-powered K-pop idol-style face analysis and image generation service available at kpopdna.com. By using the service, you agree to these terms.

1. Service Overview

KpopDNA analyzes your uploaded photo using Google Gemini AI and generates four K-pop idol-style portrait images. The service is intended for entertainment. KpopDNA does not provide medical, legal, or identity verification services.

2. Eligibility and User Responsibilities

You must be at least 18 years old, or use the service with parent or legal guardian consent where permitted by law.

• You confirm you have rights to upload the photo you submit.
• You must not upload unlawful, abusive, explicit, infringing, or deceptive content.
• You must not use the service to impersonate others, commit fraud, or violate third-party rights.

3. Uploaded Photos and Generated Output

Uploaded photos are processed in memory only and are not stored on disk by KpopDNA. Photos are deleted immediately after processing. Generated images are AI outputs and may vary in style and quality.

4. License and Intellectual Property

You retain rights in your original photos. Subject to these terms, KpopDNA grants you a non-exclusive, worldwide license to use your generated images for personal and lawful commercial use, unless restricted by applicable law or third-party rights. The KpopDNA brand, site, and software remain our property.

5. Pricing and Payment

The current price is $2.99 USD per use. Payments are processed by Polar.sh as Merchant of Record. Taxes and payment terms are handled through Polar at checkout.

6. Delivery and Support Channels

The primary delivery method is on-site result rendering after generation. An email from noreply@kpopdna.com may be sent as a supplementary notice when results are ready, but email timing and deliverability are not guaranteed.

7. Refunds and No Retry Credits

Refund rights are described in the Refund Policy. KpopDNA does not provide a retry system, retry credits, or access tokens for failed expectations.

8. Disclaimers and Limitation of Liability

The service is provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, KpopDNA disclaims implied warranties and is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages.

9. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea. Exclusive jurisdiction lies with the Seoul Central District Court.

10. Changes, Suspension, and Termination

We may update these terms or suspend service features to maintain security, legal compliance, or performance. Continued use after updates means acceptance of revised terms.
